This eau de toilette created by Francois Demachy is inspired by the great open and wild spaces, by an intensely blue sky, by the burning desert; its composition with radical freshness reveals a wild and animalistic side and an elegant and noble side, thanks to the use of natural and carefully selected raw materials.
Dior Sauvage opens with the citrus notes of Calabrian Bergamot, specially selected for Dior to obtain a more fruity note with bitter and slightly spicy facets. It then contains the citrus and balsamic notes of Elemi, spicy notes of Sichuan Pepper and Rose Berries, aromatic notes of Vaucluse Lavender; notes of Patchouli, Vetiver, Geranium join the previous ones. The trail, decisive and strongly woody, is characterized by the note of Ambroxan, extracted from the very precious Ambergris, which brings marine and animal notes, reminiscent of sea spray.
The Dior Sauvage bottle is made of heavy glass with a sensual silhouette and rounded shapes, in contrast with its virile name; the color is dark, starting from a total black that fades to a smoky tone towards the bottom; the black lacquer cap is magnetic, with horizontal grooves, topped by the Dior signature.
